Junior Secondary
The Lower Secondary school, also known as the Secondary 1 program, plans to offer a two-year foundational program that prepares learners for the Upper Secondary program. Lower secondary learners will choose either the national track pathway, which leads to the Junior Secondary School Leaving Examination (JSSLE) or the international path. Learners sit for the Checkpoint Examinations at the end of Grade 9.

Senior Secondary
The curriculum pathways are more pronounced in the secondary phase than in the junior secondary phase. The Upper Secondary, also known as Secondary 2, is a three-year program for Grades Ten, Eleven, and Twelve and culminates in final year certificates for secondary education. Learners pursuing the national pathway are prepared for the Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) local examinations and attain competence equivalent to a TEVETA Level 2 Trade Certificate.
Learners pursuing the international pathway with Cambridge will receive instruction and preparation leading to the International General Certificate of Education (IGCSE). The IGCSE concludes in external examinations at the end of Grade 12 by Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE).

All learners will study eight subjects at senior secondary. Qualified subject specialists teach all secondary school subjects. Learners will enjoy additional attention in the specialist teacher’s classrooms during the remedial lesson. Crested Crane Academy is equipped with Laboratory facilities appropriate for teaching Sciences.
